A twenty hour flight and two weeks later and so far I’ve had food poisoning in Hong Kong, come face to face (quite literally) with the worlds second most poisonous snake in Byron Bay, been surrounded by drug dealers down a back alley in the hippie haven of Nimbin and got stranded in the middle of a cyclone. I think it’s fair to say that it’s been a memorable two weeks but here i am sat in Byron Bay and my year of adventures is finally underway! I’ll admit I haven’t been the best blogger since leaving home but I promise that from now on I’ll do my up most best to keep you posted.
As much as I fell for Sydney after a week of city life I was ready to leave it behind and head up the east coast in search of something a little more chilled. A twelve hour bus journey later and here I am in Byron Bay and it couldn’t get much more chilled than this. Its abundance of natural beauty, creative spirits and laid back surfer style gives the town a charm that’s hard not to fall for. Morning yoga on the beach, lazy days sunbathing and evenings that inevitably ended in Cheeky Monkeys pretty much sum up my time here. Here are a few snapshots from my time here, be prepared for a lot of beach photos!
I adore Byron Bay. Your photos are stunning and make me miss it so much! Ugh, seriously aching for the beach right now. Great job 🙂
