2014 was very much a year of two halves for me. The first half I kept my head down and worked my little socks off to get my degree. The second half, well I still kept my head down but for no good reason. At first I was just taking some time out but six months later and I’m still here, living very much within my comfort zone. 2015 I’m determined to do differently and make it a year of new experiences and just saying yes.
1. Live in another country
Living abroad has been on my wish list for as long as I can remember and with no commitments going into 2015 I’ve finally taken the plunge and booked a one way flight to Sydney! I leave at the end of January and could not be more excited!
2. Skydive
As someone who’s always been afraid of heights I’ve decided it’s time to face my fears and what better way to do it than to hurl myself out of a plane at 12,000ft?
3. Explore Hong Kong
Hong Kong has been on my travel wish list for many years. I’m not sure whether it was the array of skyscrapers, vibrant culture or my love of Chinese takeaways that first drew me to it… Either way it’s firmly on my to-do list.
4. Learn to surf in Sydney
As balance has never really been my friend I have a strong suspicion that this might change to body boarding very rapidly.. But so long as I gave it a go I’ll be happy.
5. Re-watch the whole of The OC
I thought I should throw a slightly less ambitious one into the mix and I have a strong inkling this might be the first one to be ticked off.. 9 days into the year and I’m already well into season one!
6. Hot air balloon ride at sunset
I’ve always pictured there to be something magical about watching a city slowly wake up whilst serenely floating 2000ft above the hustle and bustle and somehow, I can’t imagine this one being a let down.
7. Sleep under the stars
It might seem cliché and maybe the reality doesn’t quite match up to how it’s portrayed in the movies but it’s still something that I’ve always longed to do just once.
8. Start a scrap book
After around my twelve birthday I thought my scrapbooking days were behind me, but then I watched one of my favourite beauty bloggers Lily Pebbles’s video and it completely changed my mind. I think it will be a really great way of recording everyday memories and travels to look back on in years to come.
9. Volunteer regularly at a homeless shelter
This is something that I’ve always wanted to get involved with and is the one I’d be most disappointed in myself if I didn’t achieve. It really is just a few hours out of every week, no excuses this year!
That is a big bucket list for one year, but I hope you can do them all. They sound all very cool I think I can just copy paste it into my bucket list;-)

Thank you! I did get a bit over excited writing it and probably made it a little too ambitious!

Some really great goals but very big ones! I would also love to sleep under the stars and I’ve already started a scrapbook :-). Good luck x

Thank you! I think I might have been a little bit too ambitious! One step ahead of me there with the scrapbook, I hope it’s going well! x
